FIQL Pick The Perfect House Party Playlist: Pre-Drunk Rock To Hip Hop
The name pretty much says it all. If you have a house party, this is perfect. You start the list around 9-10ish before people get any spirits in them and the party is bustling. The name pretty much says it all. If you have a house party, this is perfect. You start the list around 9-10ish before people get any spirits in them and the party is bustling. The Music transitions from rock and music you can talk behind quickly to more energetic classic and modern rock. After that, it transitions to dance music with a few good drunk singalongs thrown in. At the very end when people start to file out a little bit, the list becomes more singalongs and then calm down slongs to hopefully make a few people leave.

It's perfect for house parties and is set for a party timeframe. By the time people get drunk and want to dance, the dance music will be on. By the time people get too drunk, the dance music turns off.

Furthermore, most people will recognize the songs on the list, but it gives you some sense of taste in that you're not simply playing the modern pop songs from hip hop and rock. [-]

Tainted Love is not from The Cure. It's one of the songs with more covers in the history of music, but the cure never did one. Tainted love was made popular by Softcell but originally is from Gloria Jones. Great song by the way...

Yes The Cure did do a cover, along with The Clash and The Ramones, for two other bands you would never think would cover it...but it was made popular by Softcell that i agree with!

An OK list but, You Spin Me Right Round isn't Tears for Fears it's Dead or Alive and The Cure most definitely did not do Tainted Love as others have already said. I think you should include some Bob Marley at the end for part of the wind down songs.

You Spin Me Right Round is a cover by DOPE. As per the videos associated with this Marilyn Manson did not cover this song. I enjoyed this list though, Thanks
