FIQL Pick 50 Best Songs Ever
In this fast-moving world of declining album sales and legal download sites, we find ourselves more and more drawn to songs. A song can give us exactly what we want from music at any given moment. And a personal playlist, mixing artists and eras, moods and genres, can say more about us - who we are, how we feel, how we see the world - than about the artists who played them. This isn't a histo...
This isn't a history lesson; these are the songs you need in your life, right now. Think of it as a headstart, a checklist or - at the very least - a big old argument waiting to happen. [-]

Very Brave I don't think these are the 50 greatest songs of all time (though I do agree with a few of your choices: Paradise City, Billie Jean, Smells Like Teen Spirit & Everybody Hurts). I know that isn't the point though. I appreciate that these are a personal choice. Well Done.

I love "Love Will Tear Us Apart," but the covers of the song are amazing.

maybe 9 good songs, ehhhh everything's subjective but there are way too many hollow pop cookie cutter songs on there for you to label this a BEST EVER

OMFG. Some good picks up I'll give you that. But come on...Smells Like Teen Spirit number 3???? That's disgustingly cliche. Do people actually like Nirvana or do they just think it's cool to pretend to like a band whose singer shot himself (thank god)? Kurt's voice is scratchy, annoying and completely lacking of any talent whatsoever. His lyrics aren't emotional or deep they're just stupid teenager bullshit. The guitar riffs are simple - while slightly catchy - but not at fucking all the third best song of all time. I'm sorry. I fucking hate Nirvana.
