If you have a house party, this is perfect. You start the list around 9-10ish before people get any spirits in them and the party is bustling. The Music transitions from rock and music you can talk behind quickly to more energetic classic and modern rock. After that, it transitions to dance music with a few good drunk singalongs thrown in. At the very end when people start to file out a little bit, the list becomes more singalongs and then calm down slongs to hopefully make a few people leave. <br /><br />It's perfect for house parties and is set for a party timeframe. By the time people get drunk and want to dance, the dance music will be on. By the time people get too drunk, the dance music turns off. <br /><br />Furthermore, most people will recognize the songs on the list, but it gives you some sense of taste in that you're not simply playing the modern pop songs from hip hop and rock. The songs are orderd chronologically by episode. Some songs were repeated on multiple episodes but, to avoid clutter, they are only listed once in conjunction with the earliest episode the song was heard in.<br />It's a multiple-CD mix, heavy on the rock, especially classic rock. Newer artists do appear, noteably Fallout Boy, but it's an "oldies" mix for the first part. It's rather hard to pin down a mood for this one, but if any one cares to comment on that, you're more than welcome to. I am indebted to to other fans of the show who helped me compile this list. Meaning I'm from the ol skool yet I've included new school tracks that were hot at parties. Also, I did not put this playlist in a format. Many of these tracks can be played between genres and It depends on the mood of the crowd. Finally, feel free to suggest other party hits/anthems to add to this list. note: I've never paid attention to the lyrics for track "in da club" by 50 Cent. I say this as a few females found the lyrics offensive. Personally, I like the beat and it makes me get up n dance. In closing, a few of these tracks are old and I laugh to myself remembering a dance step or two.ENJOY!
